Kwanzaa 2023: Reflecting on Umoja

I am taking my understanding of Kwanzaa up a notch this year with short, daily reflection videos on the principles of Kwanzaa.

December 26th is the first day of Kwanzaa and the primary principle is Umoja which means unity. As I thought on the concept, the maintenance factor of unity stood out to me the most. I want to do a better job of maintaining healthy relationships going forward - be them friendships, familial relationships, my partnership with my spouse, my community and civic engagement. Each are special and I'm excited to share my thoughts on the topic with you in the video below:
