Kwanzaa 2023 Reflection: Nia

Day Five of Kwanzaa is here! Today's principle is Nia, purpose.

When I think about this principle, I'm encouraged to prioritize my physical, spiritual and mental wellbeing. I have a few ideas in mind for my own life, but this is an area that I struggle with. One thing is for certain; I cannot fulfill my purpose here on Earth if I do not first take care of the woman who stares back at me when I look in the mirror.

We cannot pour from an empty cup y'all! Please consider how you will take care of yourself in 2024 and beyond.
