My work focuses on enhancing how information flows across the organization - ensuring colleagues at every level stay informed, connected, and engaged. I oversee the management of key digital and physical channels (including intranet, digital signage, and enterprise social tools) driving consistency and alignment with corporate priorities. Partnering closely with HR, IT and business leaders, I develop scalable solutions that improve channel performance and user experience. As a member of the corporate communications team, I managed strategic communications, media relations, and crisis response for multiple hospitals across South Carolina, Massachusetts, and Tennessee. I served as a trusted advisor to hospital CEOs, developing executive messaging and leading internal and external communications that supported organizational priorities and strengthened community trust. In this role, I crafted employee communications that fostered engagement and alignment while managing sensitive issues and media inquiries with professionalism and care. As Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at Piedmont Medical Center, I led the development and execution of strategic marketing, media, and digital campaigns that strengthened the hospital’s reputation and community presence. I managed the department’s budget, oversaw advertising initiatives, and provided strategic counsel to senior leadership on both internal and external communications. I produced the weekly employee e-newsletter and the quarterly public-facing newsletter, using storytelling to spotlight staff achievements, patient experiences, and hospital milestones. I also served as the primary media contact, cultivating strong relationships with local journalists and securing coverage that amplified the hospital’s brand and mission. This role deepened my passion for connecting people and purpose through authentic, impactful communication.
