EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION
Master of Business Administration
Winthrop University
THE CHALLENGE
I do not consider myself to be a solid test-taker so completing my MBA was a great challenge. My mentor, Dr. Kimberly P. Johnson encouraged me to apply and often talked me through my most difficult, long nights.
Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication
Winthrop University
THE FOUNDATION
When I left home for college, I didn't know what to expect. I knew I wanted to educate others so my original major was in education. After allowing Winthrop to expose me to new adventures, I realized I could educate others outside of the classroom and that led to my decision to major in Mass Communication - Broadcasting.
Social Marketing Certified Professional

LIFELONG LEARNING
I believe it is important to keep learning about your field. Completing this certification has fueled a fire within me to be a lifelong learner.

PEN Promise
Sometimes, young people open up to adults who are not their parents about important topics and thoughts. Seeing a need for meaningful connection in the vulnerable age range of 12-16, I was inspired to create this charitable organization with a unique penpal approach to mentorship by the desire to connect with my middle and high school aged nieces in a creative way outside of text messages and social media.
